Pilot Plant Process Technician

Do you believe in a world without fossil fuels? We do! And with our patented and game changing biofuels technology, we can eliminate carbon emissions from heavy transportation providing a pathway to a greener future. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Pilot Plant Process Technician to support our pilot plant operations. Are you the one we are looking for?

How you will contribute to a world without fossil fuels

In this role, you will play an essential part in our highest priority projects by operating and maintaining pilot plant equipment and systems and ensuring the smooth execution of pilot plant test runs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct experiments and trials to support process development and optimisation.
  • Monitor and record process parameters and data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of experiments and processes.

What we are looking for

To help reach our milestones, we are looking for a new colleague with a degree (AP graduate or similar) within Process Technology with proven experience in a pilot plant or similar environment - or someone with a technical background who has relevant experience. Also, you should have:

  • Strong understanding of process technology principles, instrumentation, and equipment.
  • Experience with high pressure and high temperature processes is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • A get-things-done mentality.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

As a start-up we are always exploring, and our lab is subject to many new findings that sometimes result in new setups for us to test, learn, and develop. A good day is not necessarily a day where everything has gone as expected… a good day is also a day where setbacks have led to new learnings and new things to explore. Therefore, when joining our team, it is important that you are curious, flexible, and open to new ways of working while being able to handle a change in plans.

The entrepreneurial environment in Kvasir will sometimes require you to support your colleagues with things that might not be part of your job description. We are a team, and the team’s success is your success – and vice versa.

What you will get

Working with Kvasir Technologies you will be part of a smaller international team in a rapidly growing company at the core of the green transition. We are ambitious and determined to make an impact, so we have put together a team of innovative and curious people who are all driven by our common mission to free the shipping industry from fossil fuels by 2050. The work environment at the office and in the lab is easy going and respectful. We work together as a team - and we have fun together as a team.

We provide flexible hours, remote working when it makes sense, competitive salary and benefits package, social events, and of course the opportunity for professional development and growth.
