Laboratory Technician

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team in Søborg and be part of our daily laboratory operations, executing on laboratory experiments to produce and process biooils in autoclaves or other setups while also contributing to high-quality analytical work that supports our products, research, and development. How you will contribute to a world without fossil fuels
You will play a key role in supporting our laboratory operations by executing laboratory experiments, preparing oil samples and other samples for analysis, supporting analytical work, supporting maintenance of laboratory equipment, and support the writing of the documentation. This position is essential for ensuring execution of key laboratory experiments and ensuring accuracy and reliability of our results. Your primary tasks will be:
- Perform laboratory experiments to produce or process biooils and other products as part of cutting-edge technology development
- Perform work up of products of biooil experimentation including filtration, evaporation and other separation work to quantify and log yields
- Perform laboratory analyses according to standard procedures and protocols
- Prepare, handle, and label samples accurately
- Support maintenance laboratory instruments and equipment
- Record and document test results with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist in developing and validating laboratory methods
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and good laboratory practices (GLP)
- Support inventory management, including ordering and stocking laboratory supplies
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving in the lab.
What we are looking for
We imagine that you have the following background and skills:
- Degree as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent education within laboratory sciences
- Good understanding of laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety requirements
- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO, GMP, or GLP is a plus
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and relevant software
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken
